The Farm Jam has been and gone, 28 December 2007. We are very proud of what we put together and have a lot of thanks to give to people who helped us put together a wicked day. These photos come courtesy of Dave Coulson, Lee Morgan and Dan Frew, thanks guys it is very much appreciated. (we have a few more pics that are special and if anyone would like to purchase any we will show ya what we got!)

The weather came right for a small window on the 28th, which was perfect timing, but unfortunately due to a downpour practice was limited to say the least. The rainy period did get the BMXicans charged up to rebuild and ride ramps in the Woolshed so that was the place to be for the arvo, with some wicked riding going on...

The athletes had traveled from around the country and were well keen to ride all the new pieces recently added to the farm, they generally weren't too disappointed going by the level of riding that was going on.

The Small dirt jumps were ridden by BMX and Hardtail and there was a wicked vibe happening and lads were throwing down, There were 3's, Flips, Tailwhips and style coming from around 20 riders as well as Mcgazza unleashing the Barrel Roll!! A couple of our boys needing some St Johns attention and help was quickly administered, Eddie on the laughing gas for a bit, Brad smacked his elbow and iced it instead of his bourbon.

The Big Dirt Jumps weren't taken lightly, but after a few runs the boys were all over them, and the all new dirt quarterpipe, which worked real well. With Brett 360'ing the last big one, ,and Mcgazza doing everything off it, Chris Beverland Flipping, Eddie kicking ass, plus a load of other epic riders, this was all quite something to see.. The perspective the crowd gets there is amazing. Ricky Stewart followed Brad Greenslades first claim of doing them on a BMX, good stuff!! Jeremy Gray and Hayden from Dunedin were going massive out of the quarterpipe, over 7 feet high for 50 bucks courtesy of The Elk House.

The Moto sessions were pretty awesome, but were slightly wind affected, as well as very limited practice for most riders. Dan definitely had the home track advantage knowing the place so well and making it look easy, he was riding well, but cautious due to the wrist issues.. Tim Watson was riding styley and solid as ever pulling out all his big moves and whipping hard, Local weapon Blake O'conner was blowing everyone away by riding so well and tricking nearly every jump! 15 year old Jesse Dobias was on fire jumping nearly all the jumps and busting out indys, supermans, whips etc, Tim Gould and Darren Patterson well represented the racing styles, with wicked lines and whips.
There were so many more talented lads here riding we would love to mention, but you know they all rip and have their own individual styles, thats the beauty of these sports is finding your niche'.

The Pitbike racing was as expected classic fun, with over 15 riders there was plenty of action, the track was marked out in a nicely contoured grass paddock and made for great flowing racing.

Thanks to our wicked sponsors, we managed to give away loads of stuff to the crowd, and pretty much every rider went home with some swag. The competition run was very casual, with no real winners apart from everybody!!!, so next year we may add some structure to this, and be able to nominate a winner!!

We are stoked as with how everything went , have been only hearing good feedback from all, there was minimal damage to property thanks to the huge team effort by all, and cheers for the respect you guys give to the place.

We are getting coverage in Freerider, Spoke Magazine, and Dirtrider Downunder all coming out in the next few months, so be sure to check them out, and tell all your buddies to come along next year, as its only going to be better...

Thanks too; Unit clothing, McDowall transport, Greenfingers Landscaping, EDH BMX, Koesra Graphics, Brent Scammel Honda, Dakine, WideOpen, Spoke mag, Castrol, The Rock, The Elk house, Quest Invers, FreeriderMX mag, Dirtrider DownUnder mag, ProTec, Redbull
